Captain Gone Wild and Moonrise Sensation retired

Two horses will no longer be seen on the track having been permanently retired. They are Captain Gone Wild, who defended the colors of Shyam Hurchund last season, and Moonrise Sensation from Sewdyal stable.

In three seasons with us, Captain Gone Wild has crossed the finish line as the winner on 4 occasions. This 6-year-old brown bay gelding by Captain Al out of Gone Wild also placed 9 times in 16 outings. His last victory dates back to the 15th day of last season when he relegated Alameery by only 0.60L at the finish.

An 8-year-old brown bay gelding by Var and Earn The Moon, Moonrise Sensation has made four appearances at the Champ de Mars. He also placed 9 times in 28 outings. His best performance in 2021 was on Matchday 21 when he took 3rd place 0.40L from Pforzheim. His last victory came in 2019.
