Rain falls at the start of training but it does not last very long, and the sun makes its customary appearance long before the session ends. A total of 87 horses work fast on the sand track.
A number of horses who participated in the Fashion Heights Barbe Cup work out this morning. They include the winner Frosted Gold, and his stable mates Alshibaa and Undercover Agent, while Black Cat Back and Kamadeva also do a gallop.
Arguably the standout gallops this morning belong to the duo of Thomas Henry and Shah Akbar. They work over 800 metres and show a very pleasant action when passing the winning post. Their stable mates Valyrian King and Marauding work for the first time since a spell at Floreal, and both show up strongly.
French Rebel, trained by Vicky Ruhee, continues his preparations for his debut. He works over 600 metres this morning, setting an eye-catching chrono of 38.49s.
Other horses that work well this morning include Walls Of Dubrovnik, Kaydens Pride, Talisman, Prince Of Venice, Culture Trip and Emerald Band.
